DETC Southwestern Regional Meeting

The Distance Education and Training Council is happy to announce registration now is open for the Southwestern Regional Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, for DETC institutions and applicants! The meeting will take place Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn.
The DETC Southwestern Regional Meeting will feature an update on the Washington scene from DETC's Associate Director, Sally Welch, as well as a briefing on newly adopted DETC Policies, Procedures and Standards and how the changes will impact DETC accredited institutions. Also, each attendee will have the opportunity to give a brief report on their institution.
The Regional Meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., and will conclude with lunch. It will be an excellent opportunity for you to reconnect with old friends (and make some new ones!), build community and gain valuable insight from other DETC institutions and applicants.

The JW Marriott Camelback Inn, nestled at the base of Mummy Mountain and overlooking the famous Camelback Mountain, encompasses 125 acres of lush desert landscape.
From Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, exit Airport North towards 44th Street. Travel north on 44th Street for approximately six miles, continuing as it curves and becomes East McDonald Drive and then North Tatum Boulevard. Continue on Tatum Boulevard for approximately 1/2 mile, then turn right onto Lincoln Drive. The resort will be on the left, at 5402 East Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85253.
