To search by Institution Name, you may type in the name (or partial name) of the institution. Once you make your selection(s), click the “Search” button to proceed. To view a complete list of all DETC accredited institutions leave all fields blank and click "Search."
Note: "Postsecondary" includes degree granting institutions. Recognition of The Accrediting Commission by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) are for postsecondary programs purposes only. Since the authority of the U.S. Secretary is statutorily limited to postsecondary institutions in the United States, this federal recognition encompasses only DETC accreditation in this area.
