DETC Partners with MaxKnowledge
to Offer New Online Tutorials
The Distance Education and Training Council recently unveiled the DETC Online Training Center. Powered by MaxKnowledge, the DETC Online Training Center offers both DETC tutorials and MaxKnowledge’s Soft Skills tutorials at no charge.
The three DETC Tutorials (formerly DETC’s online courses) are the DETC Business Standards tutorial, the DETC Evaluator Training Tutorial, and the tutorial on Preparing for DETC Accreditation.
The DETC Online Training Center also offers a free online course on Developing a Successful Online Program sponsored by MaxKnowledge and McGraw-Hill Learning Solutions. Facilitated by Dr. Robert Roehrich, a seasoned career education executive, this course describes the phases of launching an online program and strategies for successful implementation.

The 23 Soft Skills Tutorials offered by MaxKnowledge cover areas for Career Development, Communication Skills, Creativity and Innovation, Supervisory Skills, and Training Management. In addition, there are a variety of free resources, including self-paced tutorials, higher education lessons, live webinars and a social learning platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
