The 20th edition of the DETC Accreditation Handbook now is available! Copies of the book can be viewed or download on the DETC website.
As before, the Evaluator’s Rating Forms, Guides and Miscellaneous are no longer in the Handbook. They may be found on DETC’s on theEvaluator's Documents page of the DETC website. (if asked, you can use the word guest as your username and password to access the Member Services section of the website).
In addition, an Update Sheet is available that details the changes to the 2012 DETC Accreditation Handbook, and shows what standards, policies, and procedures have changed since 2011. Please review this document carefully—institutions must be in full compliance with all new and revised standards as of January 1, 2012.
Institutions going through initial or reaccreditation in 2012 have the option of using the 2011 or 2012 Guide to Self-Evaluation Report, but institutions will be reviewed using the 2012 Rating Forms, which include the changes adopted in 2011. (Please note, there is no longer a Guide to Self-Evaluation Report for 5-Year Review.)
Templates for the Guide are available on the Templates page of the Members Services section on the DETC website. (Again, if asked, use the word guest as your username and password to access this section of the site.)
