Accredited Institutions
(Note: Postsecondary includes degree granting
institutions.) The Accrediting Commission's recognition by the U.S.
Department of Education and the Council
for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is for postsecondary
program purposes only.Since the authority of the U.S. Secretary is statutorily limited to postsecondary institutions in the United States, this federal recognition encompasses only DETC accreditation in the U.S.A.
DETC does not extend accreditation to “certification programs,” but only to distance learning courses and programs that prepare individuals to sit for independently-administered certification examinations.
The Commission's scope of recognition extends through the professional doctoral degree level with CHEA and with U.S. Department of Education.
For more information about the courses/programs
offered, please contact the institutions directly or visit
their web site.
