DETC Occasional Papers
The DETC Occasional Papers are essays or reports that contribute to the body of knowledge on specific issues relevant to distance education. They may be based on work carried out by researchers financed by a special grant or award, on contributions prepared by external experts in the field, and on collective research projects or other activities organized by (or with the support of) the DETC. The Occasional Papers are also intended to increase awareness of policy perspectives within higher education and cover a wide spectrum of subjects. Viewpoints expressed within the papers do not necessarily correspond to those of the DETC.
