The Distance Education and Training Council's 86th Annual Conference will take place April 15-17, 2012 at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. The Wailea Marriott is situated in an ideal location among Maui resorts and hotels: perched between two beautiful beaches, with pristine white sands and endless blue water, with panoramic views as far as the eye can see.
In addition to featuring two days of richly informative sessions, the 86th Annual Conference will be an excellent opportunity to interact with colleagues, reconnect with friends, and learn from some of the foremost experts in the distance education field—all in a relaxed, island setting. Registration now is open for the DETC's 86th Annual Conference! The cost of Annual Conference Registration is $1,000/person for member institutions, and $1,200 for non-members! Additional attendees (spouses, etc. who will be attending meals and social functions, but not education sessions) can register at the Additional Attendee rate of $300.
Please note, attendees must register separately for Tuesday evening’s Closing Reception and Dinner. Registrations are $100 and can be purchased during the online registration process. Anyone planning to attend Tuesday’s Reception and Dinner must purchase the registration online.

Please note, the Annual Conference registration deadline is WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28th. No Post-Deadline or On-Site Registrations Will Be Allowed.
Rooms at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa are available to DETC Annual Conference attendees at the special rate of $280/night for resort view rooms, and $320/night for ocean views, plus tax and resort fee.
You can visit the special Conference Hotel Registration website by using the link in the left-hand navigation bar, or by clicking here. The site will allow you to make a reservation at the reduced Conference rate, as well as manage and change your reservations, learn about hotel amenities, and get directions to the hotel. Reservations also can be made via phone, by calling the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa reservations line at 1-800-367-2960. Please remember totell the reservations agent you are booking with the Distance Education and Training Council Annual Conference, so you can get the special Conference rate. Please note, rooms must be reserved by MARCH 11, 2012 to receive the special Conference rate.
