Supporting the Entire Student Experience: Meeting the Demands of a Learner-Driven Market
Presented by:
Mr. Justin McMorrow, Senior Vice-President, TopSchool
Tuesday, April 13th *
2:30 - 3:15 p.m. * Platinum Ballroom
As more people head back to school during these economic times, students are under tremendous pressure to gain the necessary skills to be competitive. These students are accustomed to an on-demand, technology-driven world, and they require fast, flexible options that meet their unique needs. Not only are students coming into college today with more expectations than ever, colleges are facing more competition to attract and retain these students. The market is seeing increased demand for the tools and information that can help institutions stay competitive. Institutions are seeking better, more efficient ways to 1) recruit the right kinds of students, 2) quickly launch new programs, and 3) tailor offerings and delivery modes.
The presentation will examine the ways that institutions leverage and integrate their systems to support a complete picture of each unique student—ultimately providing deeper insight into a student’s learning abilities, preferences and outcomes, so the institution can best meet a particular student’s needs and the student can maximize the education experience. The presentation will cover best practices in adapting to a learner/consumer driven marketplace in order to drive growth, reduce costs and meet accountability requirements. Attendees will learn about the ways they can access, manage and report on key data that shows exactly when, where and how each student can be most successful. By more efficiently tracking students from prospect to placement, these student-centric institutions can facilitate a unique and productive educational experience that retains students through successful completion.
