Ms. Melissa Meltzer has 21 years' experience in education, 11 of which have been in distance education, teaching courses in both correspondence and online venues. She currently serves as the Assistant Faculty Manager for Weston Distance Learning's degree programs where she recruits, trains and supervises faculty. Melissa presented at the 2009 Distance Education and Training Council’s Fall Workshop in San Diego, California and at the 2010 Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Prior to pursuing a career in post-secondary education, she began her educational career as a public school teacher, earning teaching excellence recognition on two separate occasions. Throughout her career, she has served on curriculum, instruction and assessment teams, as well as academic review boards. Ms. Meltzer received her B.S. degree in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
