This session will cover the complete course lifecycle, from inception ("you know what might make a good course...?") to completion. Get ideas on how to decide what classes to offer, tips on managing your institution's course development process, and learn how you can help ensure your courses stay relevant and fresh.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Alex Lazo has served as Academic Dean for Allied American University since March 2009. In addition to managing all academic functions, he also oversees the Educational Support, Course Development, and Publishing departments. He joined Allied Business Schools in September 2008 as Chief Academic Officer. Prior to transitioning to Education, Alex worked as IT Director for several large corporations. He has taught online courses in Business and Technology subjects for various institutions since 2005.

Alex earned a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University. He earned both a MS in Management Information Systems and a BA in International Business from Cal State Fullerton.
